The gatekeeper decides which commodities and information may enter the system and via the act of censorship and regulates financial institutions. Gatekeeping is about surveillance in democratic and totalitarian regimespublic mind control which can lead to the abuse of power. It maybe an instrument confronting global terrorism and international crime or a means to control or divide populations. The presence of my monumental sculpture signifies vigilance almost like an archaeological find from time immemorial in a contemporary scenario of self-defence against all that is evil.
