In Latvia, we have this old-fashioned saying which was used in the past - when one wanted to say that something is located far, far away, then one used this expression: "In the hell, in India". It meant that something is so far that it's almost impossible to grasp.
And yes, it's different world, and the first impression I had that it's another planet. But at the same time I felt there so much as at home and so much being "insider". So, maybe I'm also from "the moon".
