Finding things to create art with in the village was sometimes a challenge. This was drawn in ballpoint pen on a piece of wood plank.

Dave Chapman is an artist from Toronto, Canada.

As a Christian, his work is influenced by his faith in Jesus Christ.

In 2008, Dave and his wife Sandy spent the year doing humanitarian aid and living in the village of Los Algodones, the Dominican Republic. (a Haitian cane cutters Batey)
Dave's current artwork reflects many Haitian images and themes.
