My recent artworks have been influenced from spending a year living and working in a small Haitian Batey (Los Algodones) in the Dominican Republic.

You could say this is a walking stick but in all honesty it is purely ornamental.

In 2008, Dave and his wife Sandy spent the year doing humanitarian aid and living in the village of Los Algodones, the Dominican Republic. (a Haitian cane cutters Batey) Dave's current artwork reflects many Haitian images and themes.
