A beautiful piece of driftwood I found on the beach. It has a scar that I worked into the carving (I just loved the way it looks) I carved and painted the top half and left the bottom with it's natural patina untouched. Only about 2.5 feet tall. It's one of my favorite pieces.

In 2008, Dave and his wife Sandy spent the year doing humanitarian aid and living in the village of Los Algodones, the Dominican Republic. (a Haitian cane cutters Batey) Dave's current artwork reflects many Haitian images and themes.
