Impression Dimension
Impression Dimension explores an intimate yet challenging bodily relationship in the responsive environment. Each participant volunteers his/her body to be “compressed” by 2 motorized pin-walls closing in and out. A transient sculptural body space records the tactile experience that is privately owned by the participant but publicly reviewed by the audience. The transformation of dimensions 3D body to 2D plain to 1D line to eventually 0D dots bleeds through thousands of pink translucent beams. The interplay of trust and dare are evidence when the sound of the very strong motors pronounces its presence.
