"Meeting the Tomestone Stage" was inspired by the artist's trip to Tombstone, AZ and it's colorful history this past winter. This is the home of the famous, "Gunfight at O.K. Corral", between Wyatt Earp, his brothers, Virgil and Morgan, and Doc Holiday against the Clanton gang who consisted of Ike and Billy Clanton, Tom and Frank McLaury, and Billy Claiborne and who were also members of the "Red Sash Gang,. This is a gouache watercolor painting on acid free paper. 9 x 12" it is matted and is in a 11 x 14" gold colored frame.
