Mermaid with Octopus ... this is in the Benvenuto Restaurant, I painted this image on a door that leads down to the basement of the restaurant. The owner complained that the customers had to look at a door while eating their food. So he suggested that I paint him a mural on his door to look like a painting.
So - he wanted a mermaid to go along with his seafood, Italian restaurant, so that is what I did, and I painted the frame of the door with gold acrylic paint as if to frame it.
The owner was pleased and he said when and if he ever has to move, he is taking the door with him .... can't get any better than that... can it .... lol !
