Arlene Wright-Correll - Clowns on Porcelain and tiles  Mixed Media, Multimedia, Painting

I started painting clowns on porcelain and china as functional art in 2007 and most of these paintings are really done on porcelain. Each functional piece of art took at least 6 to 14 firings as each layer of paint needed to be fired at 1495 degrees for approximately 12 hours in a kiln before the next layer could be added. So they took tons of time to create.
