Alain Reynaud - Les monstres des vignes
Digitalkunst, Mischtechnik, Fotografie
The Languedoc, world’s largest vineyard, has been source of inspiration for hundreds of painters and photographers.
Landscape of sun, sea, heated stones and soft autumn and winter lights.
We thought we had seen all the Languedoc, its vineyards, the ruins of an old ‘mas’, the solitary olive-tree, majestically in the middle of giver earth.
We thought e studied everything, photographed with care, listed, analysed, fixed on screen, paper and anphélographic manuals.
But, we really did?? Are those landscapes only dead natures? What’s left, once the wine is made and ready to drink?
Wine amateurs, oenologists, landowners, did you once, only once, really stopped in those vineyards? Just being there, doing nothing, listening, looking, feeling, absorbing, feeling life… You will be amazed of what’s waiting for you, because in these places , if you are ready to let our world slip away, a world you do not suspect is waiting…….
The languedoc, my adopted country where I cover the Garrigue, where I discover most remote places for 15 years now.
My passion of large spaces learned me to look and listen, to read in the landscapes traits the sources of our emotions.
My other passion, the wines of the L anguedoc, made me look differently at this part of France, and in particular its vineyards.
Every photo is a portrait, every portrait is part of history, mine, yours, everyone’s, because everybody sees what he wants to see…
