As you can tell by the shadows, it was getting late and the "owner" still hadn't shown up. They asked everyone including the pool guard if they knew the dog or his owner but no-one had seen the dog before and certainly had no recall of the owner. They got the dog to come with them by luring him with the cell phone, he was totally focussed on it. Later they checked his collar, no tag BUT he had a microchip. Guess what? It was unreadable (sim card connection?). No idea of his age, owner, shots. Just in case they gave him his shots and he got really sick but came round after a week or so. He's still going strong, ( no more vaccinations). He must be like twenty something now!! The couple have put him in their will, the "kids" will inherit him, just in case.You never know.
