Somewhere on the shore of the Niger river, near Tombouctou. But don't tell it, don't say it is not from the moon or from Mars !
The Niger waters are just behind the viewer. Maybe one can feel it although nothing appears but sand and the desert in this image. The machine visible is an old boat used to pass the river.
A lonely man seem to come out of a space-ship.
