Birth of "Péritoine"
I was in third grade at St. Luke, in sculpture, and our teacher, Madame Therese Chotteau asked us to work on the packaging.
I found an old chair and a table in the dustbin of school. I've married and wrapped in tissue paper pasted. The purpose of this study was not to see the object as it is, and it becomes another kind. My chair was alive, she seemed to be covered with skin.
I wanted a name that made me think inside the body, a membrane: the "Péritoine".
