My artist statement .
I believe that an artist is a public persons,have to act in a responsible way.
By creating the art an artist has to make influence on people's consciousness.An artist should to attempt to return universal values to their hearts.
These are my role and philosophy. In every object, I create,I am embodying my soul , my feelings , ideas and my object become a life energy,which I believe should
have a positive influence on people's soul and minds. Every object can be turned into a masterpiece in a master's hands and contribute to human civilization, if the art contains universal values.

My art .
At this catalogue ,you will find a great selection of sculpture, drawings and paintings created in different periods
of my life. Most of my art can be characterized as modern and late modern art .
Most of my art works explore the relationship between world of human nature,feelings and my imagination.
Living in a modern dynamic world I am creating modern dynamic art.

Love , Ballet dancing ,Peace and War, Birds , Jewish motives and other motives.
My works of art do not relying on style ,styles are for me just means to make my art a life,because of it ,I am practicing many styles in my art.
I am creating realistic art,surrealistic art, figurative abstracted art, abstracted art and I have created a huge
symbolic performance named " Chess against the war".
In creating my art usually most common forms and objects, I am transforming in unusual objects and forms
with different symbolic meaning from origin object.
My art styles.
Creating my art, I have no preferences to any of art styles,because they are just meaning to make my art ideas alive.
Sometimes I create my art works one art style. Sometimes I choose another style. Sometimes are a same idea.

The art work was created from different materials : ceramics, nylon,canvas .
I have to admit that my most art works are bronze sculptures which I made them by my hands personally.
Bronze is my most loved material.
As I am and an architect I can do and model and then make it bigger ,in same proportions, I am able to create
art works looking at photos and drawings and do it as wax sculptures or clay Sculptures, including moldings
and casting in to resin, metal or plaster. 3-D designs,can be made for figurines,gift ware or general product design.,

Recently,I have worked on big 3,5 m. and 7 m high Sculptures which I have performed for the Israeli
sculptors, I have been executing this art working for an art casting plant , where I have done
alone, about 90 of welding and finishing works in bronze,

Biography.
My name is Yefim Shestik.
Profession: architect and fine art artist.
Residence:Israel.
I was born in year 1954 in U.S.S.R town Chernovizy, which located in Ukraine.
At year 1967 I began learning sport at sport school in town Chernovizy and year 1971
I have successfully graduated from sport school and received diploma's civil sport
Instructor and Judge.
At year 1971 I have successfully graduated from High school in town Chernovizy .
At year 1973 I have immigrated to Israel..
My art education started from Year 1979 until 1981 where I have started learning Graphics in college in Haifa,and I have continued my art education at visual art school' in Beer-Sheba for additional three year where I was learning Art's history, Painting Sculpture ,Art's photography , Printing ,Sketching and Drawing, and which I have successfully graduated at year 1985. and received. High qualified Art Instructor diploma.
At year 1995 after completing teacher courses and examinations I have received an Art Teacher diploma.
At year 2000, I have started learning architecture at Brauda college, which is located at town Carmiel at North
of Israel,and at year 2005 and received diploma of Practical engineer in Architecture.

Participation in fine art exhibitions.
Starting from the year 1980 I am participating at different Art exhibitions in Israel.
At firth Carmel,at year 1980, I was participating in collective Art exhibitions in Culture and Sport Building in town Carmiel , where I was exhibiting my Drawings,Paintings and Ceramic sculptures.
At the year 1983, I was participating in collective Art exhibitions, which took place at the in town Carmiel ,
At the year 1983, I was participating in collective Israeli state Art exhibitions, which took place at the South in town Yeruham.
At the year 1985, I was participating in collective Art exhibitions, which took place at the town Tel- Aviv in the Helena Rubinstein museum .
At the year 1985, I was participating in collective Art exhibitions, which took place at the town Beer-Sheba in the gallery.
“ Turkish station .“There I have exposed one of my most my significant artworks,during this period, It is Performance 3-D dimensions art work. In which,an audience , takes part in my art work ,stepping on my artwork, and leaving their traces .
This Artwork, named "Chess against War " based on Shakespeare's.
Statement “ All World -is a stage, all people - players ”.
Artwork has been created in different art techniques and medium ,
I have drawn on a nylon floor(49 square meters) false three angle perspective.
Black and white chess cells which come to end to an opposite black wall at the beginning the white Silhouette's feet.
Silhouette cares the wounded in a had chess soldier,expressing the pity .
On the left corner two chess armies (ceramics about 50 cm tall) At black colour
are standing in black area facing each other, are ready to start the war.
At the right corner,there are broken chess pieces expressing the result of war. .,

At the year 1985, I am exposing my Art in solo exhibitions, which took place at the town Carmiel in the Union Building , where I have exposed my paintings,drawings,sculptures and at second time my art work "Chess against War."
At the year 1986, I am exposing my Art in solo exhibitions, which took place at Carmiel industrial area in the foyer of   electronic plant Op-Gal .
From the year 1989 until the year 1995, I am participated in collective Art exhibitions, which took place at town Carmiel
in the gallery called “Martef Amanim” and member of Carmiel Artist Associative organization.
From the year 1986 until the year 1997 was teaching art at schools and clubs in the town Carniel and in the North area .
At the year 1997 I have I have exposed my art works at Haifa area in gallery Beit Nagler

These days I have participated in collective fine Art exhibitions at Haifa in the Congress Building at Tel-Aviv in the Asia Building,at Jerusalem in the Jerar Bahar Building.
