Mike Wytinck is an artist living and working in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, where his work has won him numerous awards and hangs in private collections across Canada and the United States.

Mike has had a love for creating art since an early age. His love for comic book art was his first inspiration for creating detailed images using pen and ink.

His studies in Commercial Art opened many doors for experimenting with different mediums, but his medium of choice continues to be pen and ink. His utilization of the pointillism technique has garnered awards and accolades from around the world. He is recognized as being one of the premiere pointillism artists in the world. Pointillism requires a great deal of patience -many of his works have taken in excess of 300 hours each to complete.

Mike lives with his wife Heather and their two children in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The family previously lived in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada until 1997 where new opportunities took them to Calgary. The family residence is situated close to Fish Creek Provincial Park, where wildlife and nature abound. The Rocky Mountains are only a short drive away and an enormous amount inspiration in the form of wildlife and scenery is readily accessible
