Shinod Akkaraparambil is an artist and illustrator based in Chennai, India.He is a recipient of "The Pollock-Krasner Foundation" fellowship from New York in 2013 and was a delegate at the International Art Symposium titled "The Breath of Epos 2010" at Elabuga, Russia. Some of his major works were exhibited in the Pune Biennale 2015.
Born in 1975 at Koduvally village near Kozhikode.
As an illustrator who has worked for leading Indian publications such as The Times of India, The New Indian Express and India Today, Shinod’s work of art varies in visual symbolism and his works talk about the co-relation which a human being has with the co-existence of historical and politics in his sustainability.
He also works with various mediums from oil painting, acrylic, figurative drawings, sculpture, installations and illustrations.
