She achieved the University degree at The Fine Arts Academy in Perugia with the supervision of the famous artist Gerardo Dottori.
Also before ending her studies she performed her first exhibition at the Montefalco ( Perugia ) city hall. After a special experience in the ceramic decoration, on 1973 and 1974 she participated with personal exhibitions at the “Two Worlds festival” in Spoleto. Critics successfully brought her toward a European dimension and she has been invited by the Italian Culture Institute to expose her work of art in Luxembourg at the prestigious art gallery “Bradtkè”.

At the beginning of the ‘80es, attracted by the theater, she has been involved in this new experience and interrupted her pictorial art research, which becomes again intensive on 2001.
During this period and still nowadays, as History of Art teacher, she educated her students to form their critic sense toward any artistic message and to develop their esthetic sensibility (above all visual) intended as a relation between reality and environment.

The artist commenced on basing her pictorial inspiration through innermost feelings and represented on the canvas an introspective aim, some times mystic and contemplative of a decadent interiority. The tempera paintings used by the artist, during the first imaginative period, are vivid and hides the extraordinary intimacy intentionally cadenced. At the beginning of the ’70es, even if very young, the artist founded her painter carrier exhibiting the own work of art at several Umbrian, Romans and Florentines galleries, where immediately art critics revealed an enormous enthusiasm. Such excellent critics encouraged the painter on pursuing her artistic career. During expositions the painter communicated the superlative of the her first creative epoch. The painting exceed throughout landscapes, religious symbols and lying subjects almost indicating a sort of “still life” with their tensed profiles towards the high.

Despite of RosaMaria Santini is back to paint since not too long, her art symbolizes a modern abstract art richly highlighted by new techniques and deep colours. She is a painter, who still proceed expressing profound and charming vibrations looking for inspiration throughout life experience and imaginary.
