Through her exploration of culture, art and nature, the artist Erica Rönnbäck creates paintings with organic shapes and expressive choices of color.

Different creative forms of expression constitutes the backbone of inspiration. Amongst other things, the artist seeks to translate musical and pedagogical ways of thinking into painting.

The historical links and specifically women's living conditions form the colorful expressions and suggestive figures in this painting.
It is a self portrait when the artist was 7 years old and her mother dressed her up to meet old relatives.
