Born in Denmark. Autodidact artist/painter living & working in Copenhagen, Denmark and Gerona, Spain. Former conference interpreter. Passionate about colors and architecture and their impact on human beings.
I work mostly with mixed media on a range of different supports (e.g. canvas, wood). I explore contrasts and tensions, hard versus soft, light versus dark, static versus dynamic; details in large, seamingly even surfaces and colors' influences on one another. Broken lines and immaterial figures give my work an apparent sketchiness and rawness allowing the contemplators' imaginations to fill in the details. In the perfectly completed work an end has been reached, whereas in the incomplete, evolution is ongoing and movement remains possible. In life the static is unachievable.
