Andrée Schwabe paints heads, people in their Sunday dress, sometimes feeling misplaced. The faces are soft, melancholy, mischievous, sometimes ironic.
The warm colours are painted by hand on the structures canvas.

Born in Constantinople (Algeria) in 1949
Lives and works in Warken (Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg)

ART EDUCATION

Drawing and painting course at the Ecole des Beaux Arts de Nantes (France), the Europäische Kunstakademie, Trier, Germany, and with different teachers in Luxembourg.

Andrée Schwabe participated at the International Festival of Fine Arts in Monastir from 2nd to 12th of September 2006. 28th of April 2007 she participated au International Festival of Fine Art de S. She is an artist of « Art au Grund » (Artist Community in Luxembourg) (showcasing their art each first Saturday a month (April – November) in the neighborhood Grund (old town of Luxembourg-city)
