STATEMENT
Copper has been my first and main material. All of my works aremade up piece by piece, they aren’t casting. I’ve also often used kinds of wood and animal bones in my works. From the beginning I’ve been interested in the world of human and animals. I’ve made mystic, natural, surreallistic, expressive and sometimes abstract works, time to time joined them together in one sculpture. I’ve used the mystic with the real, the modern with the traditional, the abstract with the natural or the natural with the synthetic together as a whole, carried organic and amorphic forms to archaic forms. Quite often I’ve worked up the uniqueness and immunity of the inherent worlds of the subjects and also their metamorphosis. Sometimes I’ve been interested in the momentary snapshots of the subjects. In my early period, time to time I’ve used the symbols as massengers in expressive works.
