I'm originally from Huddersfield in England, but I now live and work in the centre of Sarlat in the heart of the Dordogne region of France.

I'm a self-taught artist originally in gouache, my first works done in 1985. I studied oil painting in 1997 and this has become my preferred painting medium. I taught myself traditional collaging in 2004, which has become my favourite technique.

My works are often political, environmental and spiritual.
