TAMIKO PATTERSON CREATES PAINTINGS THAT BUILDS ON HER STRONG CONCEPTS OF UNIQUE CREATIVITY FOR THE ECLECTIC WORLD WE LIVE IN TODAY. BORN IN SOUTHERNPINES/PINEHURST, N.C. --DECEMBER 1975, SHE STARTED ILLUSTRATIONS AT AGE 6 AND PAINTING AT AGE 10 & SPENT MANY YEARS LEARNING UNDER ART TEACHERS AND PROFESSORS. HER PAINTINGS HAVE BEEN FEATURED IN EXHIBITIONS AND FESTIVALS INCLUDING THE 2001 CARROT TREE GALLERY IN WILLIAMSBURG, VA - WHERE SHE WAS AWARDED "BEST OF SHOW". IN HER WORK, TAMIKO USES CONTEMPORARY-ECLECTIC-ABSTRACT IDEAS COMBINED WITH FASCINATING FEMALE FIGURATIVE. ALWAYS THINKING OF DETAIL AND DESIGN, SHE COLLECTS HER IDEAS AND MATERIALS FOR HER WORK FROM THE VISUAL VIEWS OF OUR NEXT GENERATIONS EVERYDAY LIFE. TAMIKO LIVES IN CHARLOTTE, N.C. WITH HER FAMILY. AFTER BEING ON KIDNEY DIALYSIS FOR 2 YEARS, SHE IS NOW A KIDNEY TRANSPLANT RECEPIENT (2008); AND CONTINUES TO STRIVE IN ESTABLISHING A WELL-KNOWN ART/DESIGN CAREER.
