Seda B
Seda Baghdasarian is a visualist – painter, photographer, and designer – whose life vision is to advocate the beauty of the world through art and education. Her quest is to bring healing and learning to all mankind by expressing her vision of the human condition and by capturing the true essence of the physical and spiritual world we all inhabit and share. Seda is an active philanthropist who travels the world using her artwork and energy to help disadvantaged populations, including her own people in Armenia.
Originally born in Teheran, Iran, she immigrated to United Kingdom at age ten; graduating BFA honors degree in Architecture and Interior Design from London Metropolitan University. In 1982 after a brief period of working for Channel 4 making documentary films, she moved to United States and began a 20-year career in large-scale conceptual and themed entertainment design work, for various major Hollywood studios.
For the past eight years, Seda has found her passion in the art and discipline of painting. She studied with award-winning artist and filmmaker Arthur Bjorn Egeli, who apprenticed color with American master impressionist Henry Hensche.
Recently in her travels to Armenia, she has studied with Russian impressionist Maestro Armen Atayan. She is a self-taught photographer who has visited and photographed some of the world’s most sacred places. She is strongly committed to developing programs to combat disease and provide educational opportunity for children in addition to other causes in support of health, social welfare, cultural awareness, arts and conservation. She resides with her family in Los Angeles, painting and recording her journey with Nature.
