I was brought up on a very rough council estate and lived through a troubled and abusive childhood . Leaving school at 13 I hung out with hippies and travellers .Painting has always somehow stayed in my life and 10 years ago , after many people telling me to , I started to get an education in art .my paintings revolve around the notion of the psycological ambiguity between civilised and animalistic behaviour .Group dynamics and the control of others feature in my work.
