As well as these credits, below, Igor Vasiliadis holds many honours in contemporary fine art photography, not least of which in his role as head of jury for a prestigious Russian national photography contest. As well as dedicated solo showings of Igor Vasiliadis’ portfolio, his work has formed an integral part of many highly regarded exhibitions such as Photo Biennale, Krasnodar Fine Art School opening exhibition, FotoLoft Gallery opening exhibition and so on. In his art, Igor Vasiliadis uses rare photographic technologies arising from 19th century, like wet plate collodion and wet emulsion on solt activated blackened silver.
Using authentic equipment, lenses and light sources he manages to create ethereal look bearing a piece of eternity in each of the photos created.
