Mr. Biro is one of my Network contacts on BrightFuse.
As a creator of fine-art pieces, bronze medals, sculptures, and paintings, John has struck me as being a uniquely and multi-pronged talented and gifted artist.
While I am not an art connoisseur, expert, or critic, his creations appeal to me and, after all, isn't that the purpose and intent of both the work of art and the artist?
In particular, I very much enjoyed his sculpture "Gymnast," both for its simplicity, as well as its detailed elegance. It is a beautifully inspired creation that would catch my eye immediately at one of his exhibits.
Mr. Biro has received prominent attention for his work and he shared he recently returned from a European tour where his work received considerable acclaim.
Any work of art is both a gift in the sense of the artist who created it; but, also, it is a gift to those who enjoy the creation.
John does have the gift; and, what's most impressive to me is his ability to create in different media -- sculptures, paintings, fine-art pieces, and bronze medals, just to name a few.
To be able to transfer the creator's concept from an abstract idea in his or her mind to an actual exquisitely tangible work of art, is a most outstanding ability that most of us do not have.
Am grateful there are artists like John Biro, though, who share their imagination, creativity, and passion with the rest of us who can then draw from, and be inspired by, such a gift.
Am looking forward to the eventuality of saying: "I knew John Biro when..." as given his artistically gifted mind, he is certainly on his way to becoming someone to be appreciated by many, many others around the world.
Am delighted to have "discovered" him on BrightFuse.
John Anthony.
