Florence Hoffmann’s artworks are either semi-figurative, abstract and/or conceptual. They generally speak about human beings / humanity, about aspects of our behaviour, interactions between each one of us and the world.

The material she uses for her work that can either be monumental or small depend upon the theme and idea she chooses to develop.Therefore they are very varied : bronze, steel, stone, wood, resin, plaster and every-day objects like books, glasses, shoes, pins… when they are not ephemere like sand, snow and even…fire.

 Florence Hoffmann curates the yearly international sculpture symposium "Gare Art Festival " of Luxembourg since 2003. She has created and curated the « Biennale de Beaufort » 2000 et 2002, in 2009 she curated the event « NANO - 1^e Internationale Meeting of Miniature Sculpture » for the city of Junglinster (L)  such as the Biennal « REG’ART » for the City of Kayl-Tétange 2010 and 2012, and in 2011 the monumental sculptures exhibition « Art&Light » in the park of the City of Hesperange (L).

She has participated to important international exhibitions such as Open Venice, Den Haag Sculptuur  a.o. together with the artists Wim Delvoye, Damien Hirst, Nikki de St-Phalle, Yoko Ono, César, Arman, Christo et Jeanne-Claude, Jean-Pierre Raynaud… amongst others.

Florence Hoffmann has permanent installed works in private and public spaces and in museums in Luxembourg, Canada, Mexico, Thaïland, France, Austria and in Japan.

She is manager for Luxembourg at AIESM (associaction internationale de sculptures monumentales) and has participated to +/- 30 symposia in various countries.

She regularly leads different kind of workshops for children, adolescents and adults in private and institutional frames. 

She creates trophies for awards in sports, arts and business. She creates as well candles for special occasions.

2012 she received the  Luxembourg "Inspiring Woman in Arts" Award and the 4th Price of the Biennale REG'art.
