Arlene Wright-Correll - Arlene's Clown Paintings
Peinture
I started painting clowns on porcelain and china as functional art in 2007 and most of these paintings are really done on porcelain. Each functional piece of art took at least 6 to 14 firings as each layer of paint needed to be fired at 1495 degrees for approximately 12 hours in a kiln before the next layer could be added. So they took tons of time to create. Along the way I fell in love with painting clowns so I created 12 clown acrylic paintings for a calendar to raise money for St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital. One can still by the calendar each year at http://www.cafepress.com/arlene_correll.166936424 and the same goes for clown note cards and post cards at http://www.cafepress.com/arlene_correll/3460118 Also some of the original paintings are available for sale and their proceeds also go to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital and I thank you in advance for looking and perhaps helping this worthy cause.
