Clari Netzer - Acrylic and Oil artworks
Mischtechnik, Malerei
Clari Netzer’s art is influenced by her years of living in Mexico, her love for the primitive art of the different cultures that lived in ancient Mexico, and the folklore and history of Mexican Art. Clari Netzer is now an Israeli artist who gives expression to her roots through bold color and contrasting compositions.
Through her art Clari Netzer shares with others her wealth as an Israeli artist of Jewish and Mexican roots.
Clari Netzer focuses on figurative painting, on people who have a story to tell. She seeks to express and show the human qualities of inner beauty and character. As with the Aztecs who believed in dualism, she uses contrasting elements which eventually come to balance and harmony.
Considerable influence of dualism in her paintings shows monochromatic figures against an energetic and colorful background; her totem figures are primitive and rude, but reflect infantile features; women who are not beautiful show inner beauty. Her artworks show a prominent harmonious composition, symbolisms and figures that add a dimension of mystery to the pictorial narrative.
Decisions in life have led Clari Netzer to breach conventional social frameworks and as such to create art that often breaches conventional frameworks. Regardless of rules and/or perspectives her paintings come from a non-conventional point of view yet are fill the senses and share meticulous aesthetics.
The colors, the movement, and sometimes the contradictory compositions bring forth the power of the painting.
